American Family Insurance Presents
Fool in Love A Musical Night in the Life of Frankie Lymon
Friday, May 31st at 7:00 p.m.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Before Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five, before Motown torched the Motor City and the nation, Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers sizzled America's stages. Frankie Lymon's energetic performance shaped future performances of James Brown, Jackie Wilson, Michael Jackson and the like. "Fool in Love" celebrates the pioneering life of a musical trailblazer.
"Fool in Love" is a sizzling tour de force performance chronicling the meteoric rise and fall of teenage musical sensation Frankie Lymon; a career that fell just as quickly as it rose. In musically chronicling the life of a teen legend, “Fool in Love" is a performance evening marking Frankie Lymon’s indelible imprint on American pop music. From his groundbreaking hits "Why Do Fools Fall in Love", "Goody Goody", "Little Bitty Pretty One", and "So Young" to his lesser know recordings "To Each His Own" and "I’m Sorry", "Fool in Love" is the musical soundtrack of Frankie Lymon’s life.
